Ivette came to StreetLight with Sarina, her 9-month-old daughter, who was born without use of her left arm. Sarina was scheduled for surgery in two days. However Ivette had no way to pay for her travel expenses. She had already been turned away by other agencies and collapsed in tears in our office. Because of your generosity we provided a way for them to get to the hospital and have a place to stay. Before leaving we prayed for God to heal Sarina's arm. When she arrived at the hospital the doctors were amazed, for the first time Sarina had some mobility in her left arm. The surgical plans were greatly reduced. Today Sarina is recovering and the prognosis is great for her to have full use of her arm. Ivette was so impacted by God's provision she plans on establishing a fund to help other families like hers.
