Coat Day

Coats Needed

The Joy of a Warm Coat

This week StreetLight spent two days giving out warm coats to over 400 men, women and children. Donations were collected at locations throughout Union County.

Will Pritchett worked to collect coats from Cranford schools, churches and the Cranford Community Center. He and a team of seniors from Cranford Community Center distributed coats to those in need at StreetLight on November 5th, 2014. They also provided guests with a hot lunch, Will has undertaken this effort to increase the awareness of fellow classmates and the community as part of his Eagle Scout Project. Thanks to his efforts hundreds of coats have been collected. Will is continuing to collect coats through November 21st. These will be passed out by StreetLight to guests in need throughout the winter. To see photos from our November 5th Coat day please CLICK HERE.
